Tatarnetes is a new Kubernetes wrapper that localizes commands, error messages, and interface elements into the Tatar language. The project includes TatarOS Linux, a wrapper for Talos, and a customized UI dashboard featuring traditional Tatar design motifs. The entire toolset is released under the custom Tatarch 2.0 license, which is legally compatible with the Apache License 2.0.

The core tool, ayda, acts as a bash-based wrapper for kubectl. It supports three writing systems: Cyrillic, Yanalif (Latin), and Arabic script (Yaña imlä). The system translates Tatar commands into standard Kubernetes API calls while maintaining compatibility with native kubectl commands. It operates without external dependencies, relying on bash 3.2, sed, awk, and grep.

The project introduces a deterministic 'tea break' feature, where the cluster randomly pauses operations for 7-minute intervals based on a calendar-derived schedule. Users can bypass this with environment variables. The system also includes a Tatar IT glossary for cloud-native terminology, such as 'kuzak' for pod and 'töen' for node, and provides cultural context like poetry quotes.

The developers tested the stack on a live CozyStack cluster using Talos v1.13.6 and Kubernetes v1.35.6. The localization engine uses a .po file format, which is compiled into a bash case-function to avoid runtime dependencies. The project is open for community contributions via pull requests to expand the glossary and cultural content.
