IT holding T1 and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation have signed a cooperation roadmap for the 2026-2027 academic year. The partnership focuses on training specialists in artificial intelligence and machine learning, integrating industry-relevant practical tasks into the educational process.
More than 300 students are currently enrolled in the Applied Machine Learning bachelor's program, which is part of the Top-AI federal project. Over 50 T1 experts mentor students, curate academic projects, and update curricula. Students gain hands-on experience using the Sfera software production platform and the Saibox AI model development tool.
The collaboration includes the development of 50 course programs for the Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis. In 2026, 20 students from the university began internships at T1. On average, 80% of interns receive job offers from the company upon completion of their training.
T1 also maintains educational partnerships with several other Russian institutions, including MAI, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, UrFU, and HSE Perm. These initiatives aim to bridge the gap between fundamental academic education and the practical requirements of the modern IT labor market.
