Super Micro Computer reported net sales of $19.9 billion for the first fiscal quarter of 2027, which ended on September 30, 2026. This figure exceeds the company's previous forecast of $18.5 billion to $19.5 billion and represents a significant increase from the $5.0 billion recorded in the same quarter of the prior year.
The company achieved a net income of $1.594 billion, resulting in diluted earnings per share of $1.75 under GAAP accounting. Gross margins reached 12.7% on a GAAP basis and 12.8% on a non-GAAP basis, driven by strong demand for AI-optimized server systems and a favorable product mix.
Super Micro has raised its full-year revenue guidance for fiscal 2027 to a range of $72 billion to $82 billion, up from the previous forecast of $65 billion to $72 billion. Management attributes this growth to the rapid adoption of data-center solutions designed for AI workloads.
To support its expansion and meet order demand, the company utilized $434 million in cash from operations during the quarter. Super Micro continues to collaborate with NVIDIA on the development of GPU-optimized systems to maintain its position in the AI infrastructure supply chain.
