Strategy has temporarily halted its Bitcoin accumulation strategy, according to a recent SEC filing. The company paused purchases last week, citing the upcoming interest rate decision by the Federal Reserve. Despite this pause, the firm remains the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, maintaining a total stash of 848,517 BTC, which is currently valued at approximately $68 billion.

The company focused its capital allocation on a stock buyback program, repurchasing over 2 million shares of its variable-rate STRC preferred stock. This transaction amounted to roughly $205 million. The firm confirmed that it did not buy back shares of its other preferred stocks, including STRF, STRK, or STRD, nor did it repurchase its common MSTR stock during this period.

As of October 25, the company reported that $957 million remains available for future preferred stock repurchases, while $1 billion is allocated for MSTR common stock buybacks. The recent STRC repurchases were financed using USD cash reserves, which decreased to $242 million. Additionally, the company maintains a separate USD reserve of $4.8 billion for dividends and debt interest payments.
