Ghent-based construction technology startup Spotable has secured €4 million in a seed funding round. The investment was organized by the broker The Harbour. Among the participants are Jonas Dhaenens of team.blue, Christophe Morbee of NewSchool.vc, the family office of Hilde Cloostermans and Philip Corens, and Arne Vandendriessche, CEO of Get Driven.

Founded in 2024 by Sebastien Vandendriessche, Julie Dumoulin, and Pieter-Jan Philips, the company initially focused on software for roofing contractors. The platform uses geographic data and artificial intelligence to measure buildings and generate 3D models. It automates the creation of quotes, material calculations, and ordering processes for contractors, distributors, and manufacturers.

The startup intends to use the capital to enhance its product and scale operations internationally. Having established a presence in Belgium and the Netherlands, Spotable plans to enter the French and German markets. Additionally, the company has initiated its expansion into the United States, where it has already conducted pilot tests at trade fairs and set up initial commercial operations.
