Spot Ethereum ETFs in the US recorded $1,75 billion in net inflows during August 2026, marking the strongest monthly performance since August 2025. This result follows a period of net outflows exceeding $1 billion in May and June combined.

A significant portion of the August volume occurred during a nine-to-ten-day streak starting around August 17, which generated approximately $1,42 billion. On August 27 alone, inflows reached $225,8 million, narrowing the gap with Bitcoin ETF volumes.

BlackRock’s ETHA fund drove the majority of this growth, accounting for about 72% of the inflow streak with $1,02 billion. Additional contributions came from Fidelity’s FETH and BlackRock’s staking-enabled ETHB product.

Institutional investors primarily fueled the surge, supported by declining Treasury yields and a more favorable regulatory environment. Cumulative net inflows since the July 2024 launch are estimated between $12 billion and $13 billion.

As of August 2026, the total assets under management for spot Ethereum ETFs range from $12 billion to $15 billion.
