SpeakON has launched a MagSafe-compatible AI voice button designed to streamline text input without requiring users to unlock their phones or switch between applications. The device, which measures 58 x 58 x 6 mm and weighs 25 g, features its own microphone, a 220 mAh battery, and 128 MB of onboard storage. It supports up to 5 minutes of continuous input per press and offers a capture range of approximately 60 cm.

The hardware connects to iPhones via a system-wide iOS keyboard extension, allowing processed text to appear directly in apps like Slack, Notion, or Mail. Because the device uses its own microphone and battery, it functions even when the phone is locked or offline, syncing data once a connection is restored. The device requires iOS 16.0 or later, and magnetic attachment is compatible with iPhone 12 and newer models.

Priced at $129, the device includes a lifetime Pro subscription with no recurring fees. It is available in five colors: Pearl, Black, Navy Blue, Amber, and Sage. The company guarantees data privacy, stating that voice data is encrypted and not used for AI model training. SpeakON maintains SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance.

The company plans to release SpeakON Agent in October 2026, which will expand the device's functionality to include the creation of notes, tasks, and user-confirmed actions. While the hardware is sold in the contiguous United States and Washington, D.C., a free companion app is available for users to test the text-shaping capabilities before purchasing the physical button.
