Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU) and VK Tech have signed a memorandum of cooperation to advance joint research and digital development. The partnership focuses on creating solutions for the scientific and higher education sectors, utilizing the expertise of both the university and the technology company.

The collaboration covers several key technical areas, including artificial intelligence, data analysis, high-performance computing, cloud infrastructure, and information security. Both organizations aim to establish new digital platforms and industry standards for academic and research activities.

As part of the agreement, SPbPU has adopted the VK WorkSpace cloud suite, specifically utilizing its email and cloud storage services for daily operations. This integration is intended to support the university's internal digital infrastructure and streamline communication for students and staff.

The partnership also emphasizes human capital development through educational programs, internships, and joint scientific events. Students will gain practical experience by working on real-world tasks, while VK Tech expects to receive feedback from future IT professionals involved in building Russian digital systems.
