SpaceX has reportedly lifted restrictions on the use of Starshield, the military-grade version of its satellite internet system, in Ukraine. Defense Minister Evgeniy Khmara confirmed that the service appears to be functioning normally again, though the military continues to conduct testing to verify stability.

The restoration of service follows a 10-day period of connectivity issues. During this time, Ukrainian drones reportedly lost internet access when reaching speeds of approximately 100 miles per hour. This disruption led to a loss of control over some units and increased vulnerability for others forced to operate at lower speeds.

Reports indicate that President Donald Trump contacted SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on Wednesday to request the restoration of the service. Previous reports from The Wall Street Journal suggested that Musk had ordered the throttling of Starlink access in the region, potentially following discussions with the Trump administration.
