NASA scheduled the Crew-13 mission for launch on October 1 at 11:10 AM Eastern Time. The spacecraft will lift off from the SLC-40 pad at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The mission follows successful flight and launch readiness reviews conducted by NASA, SpaceX, and international partners. The Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon capsule were moved to the launch site and erected on September 27.

The mission aims to set a new record for the fastest transit to the International Space Station. If the flight proceeds as planned, the Dragon capsule will dock with the station in 7 hours and 50 minutes, significantly faster than the standard 9-hour duration.
