Dacom M, operating under the Space brand, and IPDevice have launched a new line of hardware-software complexes called VARYA. The series consists of three pre-configured solutions: VARYA Virtualization, VARYA VDI, and VARYA VDI GPU, all of which are included in the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade registry.
The VARYA Virtualization configuration, based on SpaceVM, supports clusters of up to 96 servers and includes an integrated SDN Flow stack for network management. It offers features such as live migration, snapshots, and support for various storage protocols including NFS, iSCSI, and FC.
The VARYA VDI solution is designed for remote work environments, utilizing the GLINT protocol for stable connections. The VARYA VDI GPU variant incorporates the proprietary FreeGRID technology, which allows for the distribution of physical GPU resources among multiple virtual machines, potentially reducing infrastructure costs by up to 60%.
The hardware for these complexes is manufactured by Revotech and utilizes x86-64 servers with Intel Xeon Scalable processors. The systems are modular, allowing for the expansion of computing, network, and storage resources. Additional components like vGate security modules can also be integrated into the deployment.
