Following the successful maiden flight of the Soyuz-5 launch vehicle on April 30, Roscosmos reports growing interest from international clients. Boris Glazkov, Deputy Director General for Strategic Development, stated that the number of potential foreign customers has become significant since the initial launch.

The Soyuz-5 is a medium-class, two-stage rocket capable of delivering 17 tons of payload to various Earth orbits. The project is managed through the Baiterek joint venture between Russia and Kazakhstan, which serves as the launch operator.

International clients are currently engaging with the project through Kazakh partners rather than dealing directly with Roscosmos. Glazkov emphasized that demand for these launch services exists and expects continued cooperation within the framework of the joint venture.
