The Nuri launch vehicle, developed by South Korea, successfully completed its fifth flight on October 7. According to the Korea Aerospace Administration, the rocket lifted off from the Naro Space Center in Goheung at 12:25 local time. This mission marks the fourth consecutive successful launch since the initial attempt in 2021.

The rocket carried five Earth observation satellites and ten CubeSats into orbit. All five primary observation satellites were deployed into their planned trajectories. The Nuri is a three-stage launch vehicle weighing approximately 200 tons, designed to deliver 1.5-ton payloads to orbits between 600 and 800 kilometers above the Earth.

The South Korean space agency has already scheduled the sixth launch of the Nuri vehicle for the second half of 2027. The primary objective for the upcoming mission remains the delivery of five additional Earth observation satellites into orbit.
