As of October 7, 2026, the number of unique addresses holding stablecoins on the Solana network reached a record high of over 14.02 million. This growth includes more than 4 million new holders added since the beginning of the year and over 10 million addresses gained in less than two years.

The total supply of stablecoins on Solana currently exceeds $15 billion. This follows a peak in September 2026, when the supply reached a record $17.3 billion, positioning Solana as the third-largest blockchain by stablecoin supply behind Ethereum and Tron.

Cumulative transaction volume for stablecoin-linked payment cards has surpassed $1 billion. These cards enable users to spend stablecoin balances at merchants, reflecting increased retail and payment activity on the network.

On October 6, 2026, the Solana Foundation introduced an open-source Delivery-versus-Payment framework. Developed with contributions from J.P. Morgan, the system is designed for institutional settlement of tokenized assets, such as stocks and funds, using atomic swaps and escrow.
