Solana has emerged as a leading platform for stablecoin lending, with total volume across major protocols exceeding $2.7 billion. This growth is driven primarily by Kamino Lend and Jupiter Lend, which hold approximately $1.31 billion and $1.13 billion in total value locked, respectively.
Yields for stablecoin lending on Solana currently range from 6.7% to 8%, significantly outperforming Ethereum and Arbitrum, where rates typically hover between 3% and 4.4%. These higher returns are largely attributed to high pool utilization rates, which reach 95% to 99% in high-demand scenarios.
As of October 10, 2026, the Jupiter Lend USDC pool offered a 5.12% APY on $497 million in deposits. Meanwhile, the Kamino Sentora PYUSD vault reached 8.02%, a figure that includes roughly 2.3% in token rewards. Plain USDC lending pools on the network generally yield around 5% APY.
Specialized strategies, such as leveraged loops, can generate returns between 15.6% and 23.61%. However, these products carry distinct risks compared to standard pools. Other yields are derived from real-world asset exposure, which introduces off-chain counterparty risks to the lending process.
High utilization rates present liquidity challenges for depositors, as limited idle cash may delay withdrawals during periods of high demand. Investors are advised to monitor pool utilization, the composition of organic interest versus promotional rewards, and the total value locked in major protocols.
