The volume of Zcash bridged to the Solana network has reached a record high of 103,000 ZEC, valued at approximately $124 million. This milestone follows a steady increase in bridged supply, which stood at 86,643 ZEC in May 2026 and 97,942 ZEC in mid-September 2026.

The number of holders for the OmniBridge version of ZEC on Solana has seen significant growth, rising from roughly 17,000 in late June 2026 to over 152,000 by late October 2026. This increase suggests broad retail participation rather than activity from a small number of large holders.

Solana has become a primary hub for ZEC trading outside of centralized exchanges, accounting for about 79% of spot trading volume on decentralized exchanges as of mid-September 2026. Despite this, the bridged tokens lack the native privacy features of the Zcash blockchain.

In addition to OmniBridge, a variant called zenZEC, which utilizes Zenrock’s multi-party computation system, launched on October 31, 2025. This alternative has recorded over $15 million in cumulative volume, offering a different security model for transferring assets to Solana.
