Smart Engines has updated its Smart Document Engine platform to version 3.6, expanding support for processing documents required for hiring foreign nationals. The system now handles paperwork for entry, migration registration, work permits, and residency status.
The software extracts data from arrival notices, medical reports, and language proficiency certificates. It supports over 60 new identity document types from countries including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, India, and China.
The platform recognizes 230 document types in over 100 languages. It automatically identifies document structures and scripts, eliminating the need for manual selection. The system processes up to 600,000 pages per day on server infrastructure without requiring GPU acceleration.
Smart Document Engine operates entirely locally, ensuring that sensitive data and images are not transmitted to external services. This approach allows organizations to process personal information without cross-border data transfers.
The solution is included in the Russian Ministry of Digital Development's software registry. It is designed for migration centers, HR agencies, medical facilities, and employers to reduce manual data entry and minimize errors in regulatory filings.
