The new smart #2 electric vehicle is scheduled for official market launch on November 5. The model features a 35.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack supplied by CATL, providing a maximum CLTC range of 410 km.
According to regulatory filings, the vehicle measures 2751 mm or 2764 mm in length, 1669 mm in width, and 1555 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1875 mm, a curb weight of 1130 kg, and a maximum speed of 140 km/h.
The manufacturer initiated an early bird reservation program for the vehicle on September 14, requiring a deposit of ¥298. Additionally, a special limited edition, the smart #2 Golden Edition, was released on October 12.
The limited edition model is restricted to 999 units for the Chinese market. The official retail price for this specific version is set at ¥112 999.
