The Slack collaboration platform has introduced a new feature called Slackforce Surfaces for its Slackbot AI assistant. Users can now generate interactive reports, polls, dashboards, presentations, and microsites by providing natural language prompts to the assistant. The tool utilizes the user's previous conversation history and data from connected applications to build these assets.

In a demonstration, Slack showcased how the assistant can create a visual dashboard tracking AI token usage across different departments, such as engineering, design, and sales. This feature allows users to share the generated content directly with colleagues within the platform.

These updates are part of a broader expansion of Slackbot AI capabilities. The assistant now supports cross-channel information summarization, chat organization, intelligent scheduling, and collaborative Vibe Coding. All these features are currently available to users for free without requiring a subscription.
