SK Hynix presented its latest memory technologies for artificial intelligence at the OCP Global Summit 2026, held in California. The company showcased solutions beyond traditional high-bandwidth memory (HBM) to address evolving infrastructure needs.

The exhibition featured a system demonstration area focused on server ecosystems. Senior Vice President Kim Ho-sik introduced the Memory-Centric AI Rack-Scale System (MARS), a disaggregated rack-level architecture designed to integrate computing and storage resources efficiently.

The company also highlighted advancements in High Bandwidth Flash (HBF) to meet increasing storage capacity demands. Additionally, SK Hynix unveiled a second-generation 256GB storage product based on the CXL 3.2 standard.

This new CXL-based memory solution delivers more than double the bandwidth of its predecessor. Furthermore, the product achieves a 30% improvement in energy efficiency compared to the previous generation.
