Silkland has introduced the H96 series, which the company claims is the world's first certified HDMI Ultra96 cable line. These cables support the HDMI 2.2 standard, which was unveiled in January 2025 and offers a bandwidth of 96 Gbps.
The series includes two models: the S2705 and S2707, measuring 2 and 3 meters in length, respectively. Both cables feature aluminum alloy housings and a double nylon braid. Each unit carries an official Ultra96 certification label.
To ensure authenticity, users can scan a QR code on the packaging to verify the model and length on the official HDMI website. The Ultra96 certification requires each specific cable model and length variant to undergo testing at an authorized HDMI Forum center.
The H96 cables support uncompressed 4K at 240 Hz and 8K at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 color gamut. With Display Stream Compression (DSC), the cables can handle up to 4K at 480 Hz, 8K at 240 Hz, and 16K at 60 Hz. The pricing is set at $33 and $56.
