ShiftLeft Security has released an updated version of its Sastav.SCA module, designed for scanning and managing security risks in third-party and open-source libraries. The update focuses on improving performance, architectural stability, and user experience.
The module now features a redesigned interface that matches the Sastav.SAST product line. Developers have integrated support for the CVSS 4.0 standard and JMIX-based projects, allowing users to track vulnerability criticality more effectively.
New security controls include dedicated policies for detecting malware and protestware, alongside the ability to manually add licenses. Enhanced monitoring tools now provide detailed error reporting, highlighting specific stages of the scanning process where failures occur.
The updated Sastav.SCA module is currently available for purchase as a standalone service.
