Launch integrator SEOPS has secured a contract for five dedicated missions on Isar Aerospace's Spectrum rocket. The agreement covers launches scheduled between 2028 and 2030, which will take place from the Andøya Space Center in Norway and a facility in Nova Scotia, Canada.

These missions are part of the SEOPS Waymaker program, designed to expand rideshare options as SpaceX reduces its Transporter missions. SEOPS previously purchased its first dedicated Spectrum launch for November 2025. The new contract was finalized just prior to Isar's first successful orbital flight.

Isar Aerospace is currently scaling operations to meet this demand. The company plans to conduct four flights in 2027, followed by a doubling of its launch cadence in 2028. A new production facility near Munich is being commissioned to support an annual output of up to 40 launch vehicles.

Industry demand remains high, with Isar's Chief Commercial Officer Stella Guillen noting that the market would require nearly 200 vehicles in 2028 to satisfy current needs. SpaceX has reportedly paused bookings for its Transporter missions starting in late 2028 or early 2029.
