Sentra Inc. has secured $150 million in a Series C funding round led by Capital One Ventures. The company, which provides data security software, plans to use the capital to enhance visibility into AI agents and models accessing sensitive information, as well as to accelerate its containment capabilities for unexpected agent behavior.
The startup reports that its business grew by more than 300% over the past year. The platform identifies which users, service accounts, and AI agents can access specific datasets, including inherited permissions. It automatically removes stale or high-risk data and restricts access to the minimum required for specific tasks.
The funding round included participation from existing investors, such as Bessemer Venture Partners, Zeev Ventures, Standard Investments, Munich Re Ventures, and Key1 Capital. Key1 previously led a $50 million Series B round in April 2025. Since its inception in 2021, Sentra has raised over $250 million in total.
Sentra was founded by Yoav Regev, Asaf Kochan, Ron Reiter, and Yair Cohen. The company plans to scale its field and channel programs while expanding into new geographical markets. A representative from Capital One Ventures will join the company's board of directors following this investment.
