Seismora Inc. is developing a control plane designed to coordinate AI workloads across various computing environments, including devices, edge infrastructure, and cloud providers. The technology aims to automate the routing of AI tasks, allowing developers to utilize resources from different providers without embedding routing logic directly into their applications.

The company defines its approach as cognitive routing, which selects the execution environment for AI tasks based on capability, cost, latency, and policy constraints. According to CEO Vito Palermo, the platform is intended for developers building agentic applications that integrate tools like open-weight models from providers such as Fireworks.ai and contextual knowledge from Neo4j.

Palermo highlighted the industry shift toward machine-to-machine communication as a driver for such infrastructure. He referenced the acquisition of the AI model routing platform OpenRouter Inc. by Stripe Inc., which was reportedly valued at approximately $7.5 billion, as evidence of the growing market interest in routing technologies for distributed AI systems.
