Sechenov University has concluded a pilot test of the UniDoc digital platform and its integrated DocAI assistant. The module is designed to automate the processing of medical data and research for students.
The system utilizes a dialogue-based model that incorporates Socratic questioning techniques. It provides context-aware responses and adapts material complexity to individual student needs based on clinical guidelines.
During the 2025 pilot, students from the Locus Digital Project School participated in the testing. Data showed that 79% of interactions involved searching for medical information, analyzing concepts, and summarizing sources.
Participants reported that the assistant reduced cognitive load to levels comparable to working with a human tutor. Students also engaged in developing platform modules through Data Engineering, Prompt Engineering, and Data Science tasks.
Future plans include a large-scale study across multiple medical universities to assess academic performance and develop digital didactics for AI in medical education.
