The investment firm Seaya has successfully closed its new growth fund, Seaya Nova, at €600 million. The fundraising process for this vehicle was completed in six months. The European Investment Fund, acting under the European Tech Champions Initiative, is a key backer of the fund, joined by various institutional investors, family offices, and corporations.

Seaya Nova intends to deploy between €20 million and €50 million per investment. The fund will focus on leading or co-leading Series B to D financing rounds for European technology companies that demonstrate proven business models and global potential. The strategy aims to support firms as they scale their operations internationally.

The fund is managed by Seaya founder Beatriz González and new managing partner Vinoth Jayakumar. Jayakumar brings over ten years of experience in the European growth sector, having previously supported companies such as Revolut, Wise, and ICEYE. His arrival marks the opening of a new Seaya office in London, which will operate alongside the firm's headquarters in Madrid.

With the introduction of Seaya Nova, the firm now manages three distinct investment strategies. These include Seaya Ventures for early-stage startups, Seaya Andromeda for impact-focused investments, and the new growth fund. This structure allows the firm to provide capital to European technology companies throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial funding to global expansion.
