SberUniversity's School of Finance has launched an online tool designed to assess the AI maturity of corporate financial functions. The tool evaluates organizational readiness, identifies technological constraints, and benchmarks AI application depth against market standards.
The assessment provides an integral maturity index ranging from 0 to 100, categorizing companies as Beginners, Practitioners, or Leaders. It analyzes five key dimensions: strategy, processes, data and technology, human competencies, and risk management.
The tool offers two modes: an express version with 15 statements taking five minutes, and a detailed version with 65 questions taking 20 minutes. The detailed report includes a 12-month roadmap tailored for either SMBs or large regulated organizations.
The methodology is based on an analysis of over 70 research papers from 2024–2026. According to Gartner data cited by SberUniversity, 84% of financial functions have implemented or plan to implement AI, yet only 7% report high or very high returns.
