The team responsible for international settlements for corporate clients at Sberbank has developed a tool called HG SDLC (Human Guided SDLC). This orchestrator aims to bridge the gap between individual AI coding sessions and a unified software development process.
Current coding agents handle tasks like writing code, creating tests for multiple modules, and preparing pull requests. However, the development lifecycle still relies on manual human intervention to coordinate between different stages, such as requirements gathering and task assignment.
The HG SDLC orchestrator is based on the AI-Disrupt PDLC framework. This approach defines a target process where a human sets goals and makes final decisions, while the agent executes the work. The environment manages context, rules, verification, and execution history.
The developers report that isolated sessions with coding agents lack the necessary scalability for enterprise environments. The new orchestrator serves as the connecting link between development stages, aiming to automate the workflow while maintaining human oversight.
