Sber and the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI have entered into a formal partnership agreement. The collaboration focuses on advancing educational and research initiatives within the fields of artificial intelligence and digital technologies.

A central component of the agreement involves the integration of the GitVerse platform, developed by SberTech, into the university's academic and research workflows. Students and faculty will utilize the platform as a collaborative environment for technology projects.

Beyond the platform integration, the parties intend to organize joint educational events and career guidance programs. The initiative also aims to foster youth technological entrepreneurship and provide students with increased access to practical industry tasks.

According to MEPhI First Vice-Rector Irina Balakina, the partnership supports the university's transition toward a model where research activities generate market-ready products. The university seeks to leverage Sber's industry expertise to enhance its research capabilities.

German Barg, Chairman of the Moscow Bank of Sberbank, stated that the collaboration connects academic expertise with practical business requirements. The partnership is designed to enable students to develop real-world projects using Sber's technological infrastructure.
