Sazmining, a Wyoming-based mining-as-a-service provider, has launched sales of Proto immersion hashboards to individual investors. Previously, this hardware, developed by Block, was primarily accessible to large-scale mining operations.
Each Proto board provides a hashrate of 204 TH/s with an efficiency of 15 J/TH and a power draw of 3,060 watts. The units utilize immersion cooling, which eliminates the need for traditional fans by submerging the hardware in non-conductive liquid.
The retail price for a single unit is $4,187, or $3,978 for those paying in cryptocurrency. Sazmining also offers a financing plan requiring a down payment of $1,397 followed by 18 monthly installments of $155 at 0% interest.
Beyond the hardware cost, Sazmining charges a 15% management fee on all Bitcoin produced by the boards. Current projections suggest a payback period exceeding six years, a timeline that may be further extended by future Bitcoin halving events.
As of October 30, 2026, the Bitcoin network hashrate reached approximately 1,076 EH/s with a mining difficulty of 148.36T. A single Proto board accounts for roughly one five-millionth of the total network hashrate.
