Analytics firm Santiment has published its latest list of crypto projects based on their GitHub development activity over the past 30 days. The top ten include MetaMask, Eigen Cloud, Dash, Dfinity, Uniswap, Polkadot, Kusama, OriginTrail, XRP, and Hedera.
MetaMask leads the current ranking, followed by Eigen Cloud. Polkadot maintains a strong presence with over 700 public repositories. EigenLayer, the parent company of Eigen Cloud, previously secured $100 million in a Series B funding round in February 2024 and launched its mainnet in April 2024.
Other notable projects include Uniswap, which is currently developing the v4 upgrade to support customizable smart contract extensions. Hedera continues to expand its ecosystem through the Hedera Grant Program, which receives support from corporate partners such as Google and IBM.
Santiment notes that while high development activity can indicate long-term project health, it is not a reliable short-term trading signal. The metric tracks meaningful code contributions but does not account for work kept in private repositories.
