Samsung is preparing to host a Galaxy Unpacked event on October 7, where it will introduce the Galaxy Tab S12 series. Pre-orders are scheduled to open on the same day, with official retail availability expected approximately one week later. The new lineup will consist exclusively of Plus and Ultra models, omitting a standard version.

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is expected to feature a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and an 11,600mAh battery. Reports suggest the device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 processor, though some sources indicate a Dimensity 9500 chip. The tablet measures 5.1 mm in thickness and weighs 693 grams, supporting 45W wired charging.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ will include a 12.6-inch display and a 10,600mAh battery with 45W charging support. It features a 13-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel front sensor, capable of 4K video recording. The device is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance and will be available in gray and silver color options.

Performance specifications for the series include 12GB of RAM paired with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. While the S Pen is supported by the Ultra model, it will not be included in the box. The Ultra variant is expected to launch in gray and silver, featuring a slim bezel design and a prominent rear camera module.
