Samsung is reportedly preparing a significant overhaul for its One UI software, with the upcoming One UI 10 expected to debut on the Galaxy Z Fold9. According to industry leaks, the company's software development teams are currently focused on this project, marking a shift away from the traditional interface design.

The current iteration, One UI 9.5, is described as the final version of the traditional UI structure. Samsung originally introduced One UI in 2018 at its developer conference as a unified interface for both foldable and standard mobile devices, replacing the previous Samsung Experience system.

Samsung recently began rolling out the official version of One UI 9 in September. The initial rollout included the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra models, with plans to expand availability to additional devices. Development and testing for the One UI 9.5 update are currently ongoing.
