Batteries for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra and Galaxy S27 Pro have appeared in the Safety Korea certification database. The components are identified by model numbers EB-BS958DBY and EB-BS957CBY, which correspond to the smartphone model numbers SM-S958 and SM-S957 respectively. The supplier for these batteries is Zhuhai CosMX Battery.

While the certification documents include photographs, the specific capacity details remain illegible. Previous reports from China's 3C certification database suggested rated capacities of 5534 mAh for the Ultra model and 5087 mAh for the Pro version. Based on these figures, industry estimates suggest Samsung may market them as 5700 mAh and 5200 mAh batteries.

The 3C certification also indicated that both devices support up to 60W wired charging. If the projected capacities are accurate, the S27 Ultra would feature a 700 mAh increase over the 5000 mAh battery found in the S26 Ultra, representing a 14% growth. The S27 Pro would see a 200 mAh increase, or approximately 4% compared to previous standards.

Samsung has not yet officially confirmed any technical specifications, including battery capacity or charging speeds. While there were rumors regarding the testing of a 700 mAh prototype, the current design appears to prioritize space for the S Pen. The release date for the S27 series remains unconfirmed, though reports suggest a potential launch between January and February.
