The iQOO Neo 12 smartphone is set to debut in China on October 28. The device features a 50 MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor equipped with optical image stabilization. Users can utilize a high-resolution mode for capturing fine details, along with three dedicated film-style presets for portrait photography: Positive, Negative, and Clear Blue.
The handset is powered by a 9000 mAh Blue Ocean battery, which utilizes a fifth-generation silicon anode and second-generation semi-solid-state technology. The battery offers an energy density of 916 Wh/L and supports 100 W wired charging. According to the manufacturer, the capacity allows for 11.6 hours of MOBA gaming or 29.9 hours of continuous short-video playback.
To manage power during intensive tasks, the device includes the Global Direct Drive Power Supply 2.0 system. This bypass charging technology powers the smartphone directly while gaming, navigating, or watching videos. The solution is designed to reduce thermal output and decrease the rate of battery degradation over time.
