According to the latest certification data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Samsung Galaxy S27+ does not list support for Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology. This omission suggests a potential shift in the product lineup strategy for the upcoming series.
The certification documents cover four models: Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra. While the Pro and Ultra versions explicitly mention UWB support, the Galaxy S27+ lacks this designation. Historically, the Plus models have featured UWB since the Galaxy S21+ generation.
The absence of UWB could impact features such as precise item tracking with accessories like SmartTag, digital car key functionality, and spatial awareness between devices. Without UWB, these tasks would rely on Bluetooth 6.0, which offers less precise positioning compared to the centimeter-level accuracy provided by UWB.
