Samsung has increased the prices of its Galaxy S26 smartphone lineup in the United States. The base model of the Galaxy S26 with 256GB of storage now retails for $999, which is $100 higher than its previous price of $899. This adjustment follows an earlier price increase implemented at the launch of the series, resulting in a total price rise of $200 compared to the base Galaxy S25 model.

The price hikes affect almost every device in the S26 series. The 512GB version of the Galaxy S26 now costs $1,199, while both the 256GB and 512GB variants of the Galaxy S26 Plus have seen a $100 increase, reaching $1,199 and $1,399 respectively. Samsung attributed the initial price adjustments earlier this year to rising costs for RAM components.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra models also saw significant price changes. The 256GB and 512GB versions are now priced at $1,399 and $1,599, marking a $100 increase for each. The 1TB model of the S26 Ultra experienced the largest hike, rising by $200 to a total of $1,999. The Galaxy S26 FE remains the only model in the current lineup that was not affected by this latest round of price increases.

Despite the current stability of the S26 FE price at $699, it remains more expensive than the previous S25 FE model. Samsung is not alone in this trend, as both Apple and Google have also increased the pricing of their respective smartphone offerings throughout the current year.
