Samsung has increased the recommended retail prices for its entire Galaxy A mid-range smartphone lineup in the United States. This pricing adjustment follows a similar increase previously applied to the flagship Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra models.
The Galaxy A17 5G, which serves as the company's entry-level device in the US market, has seen multiple price hikes throughout the year. Initially launched in January at $199.99, the device saw its price rise to $249.99 two months ago.
Following the latest adjustment, the price of the Galaxy A17 5G has increased by an additional $20. Over the nine-month period since its market debut, the total cost of the smartphone has risen by 35 percent, marking a significant shift in the brand's budget segment strategy.
The price increases also extend to the Galaxy A37 and A57 models. These adjustments reflect a broader trend of rising costs across Samsung's current mobile portfolio in the United States, impacting both premium flagship devices and the more accessible mid-range product categories.
