The RWA Foundation released its latest quarterly report, identifying 717 stablecoin deployments across various blockchains, including Ethereum and Solana. This figure reflects the number of instances where stablecoins are active, rather than the count of unique assets.

Market data from late August through September 2026 shows between 189 and 193 distinct stablecoin assets. The total supply of stablecoins is approximately $302.5 billion, with a combined market capitalization ranging from $298.8 billion to $301.4 billion.

USDT and USDC continue to lead the stablecoin market. While stablecoins dominate the tokenized sector, the broader market for tokenized real-world assets—including funds, credit, commodities, and equities—is estimated at mid-$30 billion as of mid-2026.

The RWA Foundation tracks over 10,000 tokenized assets via its platform, rwa.xyz, in collaboration with Token Terminal. The report highlights that the high number of deployments relative to unique assets indicates market fragmentation across multiple chains.
