Russian Post has digitized over 1.7 million letters for individual and corporate clients since the beginning of 2026. The service allows users to view incoming correspondence, including notifications from government agencies, directly in a mobile application without visiting a post office.
The company operates a network of 20 specialized scanning centers across the country. Employees process incoming mail and upload digital copies to the user's personal account. Paper originals are stored free of charge at these centers for one month, with an option to extend the storage period if necessary.
Following the expansion of the service to include individual users, demand has doubled. The company plans to scale its operations by connecting 10 additional cities to the service by the end of the year. Anton Nechaev, Director of Product Development at Russian Post, stated that the initiative aims to improve the speed and convenience of communication with official institutions.
