According to a survey by the travel management service Smartway, 52% of Russian employees are willing to delegate business trip planning to artificial intelligence. The study involved 1,249 respondents residing in major Russian cities.

Preferences for AI tasks vary among participants. Specifically, 17% would use neural networks to build travel routes, another 17% would trust AI to select hotels, and 16% would rely on it for booking tickets. Preparing travel reports is a task for 13% of respondents, while only 8% are comfortable with AI handling budget calculations.

Despite the interest, some employees remain cautious. Among those hesitant to use AI, 32% fear document processing errors, 28% worry about non-compliance with corporate policies affecting reimbursements, and 20% are concerned about scheduling mistakes that could disrupt their business trips.
