Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov announced that the first three Il-114-300 aircraft will be delivered to a Russian customer in the coming months. One plane is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026, while the remaining two will be handed over in January 2027. The aircraft received its type certificate in June 2026, and the Second Arkhangelsk Aviation Detachment is set to be the recipient.
The Il-114-300 is a turboprop regional aircraft designed to replace the aging An-24. It features domestic components and is powered by TV7-117ST-01 engines. The aircraft has a range of 1,450 km and a capacity of 66 passengers. It is capable of operating autonomously from small airfields and short runways without relying on extensive ground infrastructure.
During the Innoprom India exhibition, Russia reached an agreement to supply 85 Il-114-300 aircraft to Indian airlines. The parties signed the documents at the event, with plans to finalize the first firm contracts before the end of 2026.
