Runway has developed several platforms based on its Real-World Intelligence models. These include Runway Creative for video, image, and audio generation and editing, Runway Dev for model access and creative tools, and Runway Robotics for policy inference via photorealistic simulation.
The company reports that its tools are used by over 60 million creators and 95% of the Fortune 100 companies. A growing number of its largest clients are now licensing frontier models directly.
To strengthen its robotics research, Runway has integrated the team from Kinetix, a Paris-based AI research lab. Kinetix specializes in 3D human motion and physically grounded video generation, which will support the development of world models for robotics.
In February, Runway secured $315 million in a Series E funding round. The company intends to use this capital to pre-train the next generation of world models and expand their application across new products and industries.
