NTC IT ROSA has released a major update for its ROSA Messenger, introducing end-to-end encryption for both individual and group chats. Messages in these chats require a private key stored on the client side for decryption, ensuring that server administrators cannot access the content.
Users can initiate secure conversations via the menu, with encrypted chats marked by a green lock icon and color-coded messages. To prevent data loss, a cloud password feature allows users to recover access to their encryption keys if necessary.
The update includes enhanced security controls, such as a session management section that allows users to view and terminate active sessions on other devices. Additionally, the system now sends notifications whenever an account is accessed from a new device.
ROSA Messenger now supports guest invitations via links, allowing external users to join chats and calls without full registration. The update also improves the interface with a new layout for photos, refined video call features, and more efficient chat management tools.
The messenger is designed for corporate use, supporting on-premises deployment within an organization's own infrastructure. Future development plans for the platform include the addition of group audio and video calls, as well as a full-featured video conferencing system.
