Rolls-Royce is developing a new electric SUV that features a distinct design compared to the current Cullinan model. Spy photos published by BMW Blog reveal a central seam on the hood, suggesting a split-opening mechanism as indicated in recent patents. This design choice allows the front area to serve as a storage compartment, as the vehicle does not require space for a traditional V12 engine.

The prototype shows a lower, more streamlined silhouette that resembles a wagon rather than a traditional SUV. The vehicle appears longer than the 5341 mm Cullinan, while retaining signature Rolls-Royce elements like the upright front end and the Parthenon-style grille. The car features a short front overhang and a long rear overhang, maintaining the brand's classic aesthetic proportions.

The upcoming model will utilize BMW Group's latest electric vehicle technology. Reports indicate the SUV will be equipped with sixth-generation motor and battery systems. The platform is expected to support an 800V architecture, enabling high-capacity battery integration for the new electric vehicle.
