Robinhood has secured authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority to provide retail trading and custody services for 10 asset classes. The platform will support bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, equities, ETFs, and investment tokens.

The company plans to launch its services in the region by 2027. Operations will be managed from a new headquarters located in the Dubai International Financial Centre, which will serve as the firm's hub for the Middle East and North Africa.

Salah Kaddoura has been appointed as the senior executive officer and president of Robinhood MENA. He is tasked with assembling the local team in preparation for the upcoming regional launch.

This expansion follows a series of international moves by the company, including entries into the UK and European Union markets, as well as the acquisition of the Canadian platform WonderFi in June.
