The Vault, a Swiss and EU regulated platform for institutional digital assets, is establishing a new engineering hub in Tbilisi, Georgia. The local entity, Tría Labs, will house developers and cryptographers tasked with advancing the company’s core technology.

The team in Tbilisi will focus on the development of the company’s proprietary MPC library, which underwent an independent audit by Halborn this year. They will also work on SaaS and on-premise solutions designed for banks, asset managers, and fintech firms.

This expansion is intended to scale product capacity in response to growing institutional demand driven by the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). The company is currently finalizing local banking, tax, and employment arrangements.

The new office will operate exclusively as a research and development center. Licensed activities for the platform will continue to be managed by the company’s existing regulated entities based in Cyprus and Switzerland.

The first group of specialists is scheduled to begin operations in Tbilisi within the coming months. CEO Artem Stopnevich stated that the city was chosen for its rapidly growing technology community and talent pool.
