Ki Young Ju, CEO of CryptoQuant, states that the rising Bitcoin hashrate serves as an indirect bullish signal from institutional investors. He notes that public miners, largely supported by traditional finance institutions, are returning online, which strengthens the network's security and fundamental value.

Data from CryptoQuant shows that the Bitcoin hashrate has recovered by approximately 45% since July, increasing from 726 EH/s to about 1,050 EH/s as of Wednesday. Despite this growth, the current hashrate remains below the peak of 1,305 EH/s recorded in October 2025.

Public mining companies like NIP Group are actively expanding their capacity. NIP Group recently announced an agreement to acquire 4.47 EH/s of mining hardware, which is expected to bring its total hashrate to 13.85 EH/s. Currently, NIP Group holds 3.11 EH/s, while Bitdeer leads the sector with 79.9 EH/s.

Market volatility has impacted mining stocks. NIP Group shares closed at $6.10 on Wednesday, following a 6.8% decline. Other major miners, including TeraWulf, Core Scientific, Cipher Mining, and IREN, also experienced share price drops of approximately 12% due to broader market pressures from inflation data.
