Rig Security, a cybersecurity startup, has exited stealth mode after securing $12 million in seed funding. The round was co-led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Brightmind Partners, with participation from the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund and various industry executives, including Wiz co-founder Ami Luttwak.
The company was founded by CEO Guy Kozliner, CTO Nokky Goren, and Head of Product Michal Haikov. The startup currently employs 20 people and reports that its platform is already being utilized by Fortune 200 companies within the financial services, insurance, healthcare, and technology sectors.
The platform features the Rig Identity Correlation Engine (RICE), which uses machine learning and mathematical modeling to map relationships between users, machines, and AI agents. According to internal company testing, the system achieves an identity-resolution accuracy rate exceeding 96%.
The software utilizes an endpoint sensor to monitor activity at the device level. This allows the system to distinguish between actions performed by an AI agent and those initiated by a human employee, enabling security teams to enforce policies against specific agents without revoking access for the human user.
The startup aims to address the security risks posed by AI agents that operate using human credentials. By processing tens of millions of identity activities, the platform seeks to solve the challenge of identifying whether a specific action was executed by a person or an automated agent.
